Balance..... equal and perfect distribution of anything. It has been a few years, but I recall a rock at Natural Bridge called the balance rock. It is a big boulder that sits on a small column, sitting there perfectly balanced. With our lives, we need to have a balance of work, play, sleep, eating the healthier foods, family time, and time with God. Each day if we are blessed to wake up, we have 24hrs each day. Those hours and days pass by so quickly. Are we good stewards with our time and energy? Do we balance everything correctly, not only for ourselves, but more importantly to hopefully make a difference in someone elses life? Do we focus only on ourselves and so selfcentered we forget others in need? Do we focus on helping others and forget to take care of our own homes? Do we go through each day and forget to thank God for making it all possible for without God waking us up each day, giving us our health and strength to go and do, we would have nothing to start with. Live each day as if it were our last for we are not promised our next breath, and most of all if you are not a Christian, to ask God to forgive and live each day for God. Making the most of each day with the right balance is important in everyway.
