Bamidele Oludare UPDATE ON THE STRUGGLE: AS AT 2ND JULY,2014 If falsehood runs faster than Hussein Bolt for years non-stop, it takes the truth just a second to meet up with it Between last Saturday and this moment, the Students Union was able to clear the air on all allegations and propaganda flown in recent times by the management through our massive press campaign and Press Conference on Sunday in particular. The Press Conference had in attendance Dr Joe Odumakin, President Campaign for Democracy and female activist,some past Union leaders and some of our legal counsel. Our side of the story was in the course of the week captured severally in newspapers( punch,tribune,new telegraph,sahara reporters, etc) and tv stations (STV, AIT) giving detailed analysis of our struggle. The heat and pressure our actions forced the management to issue a release through the Registrar today 2nd July. To this end a detailed report of what has transpired, our efforts and its results since the closure of school and our next line of action will be communicated to Great Ife Students before the end of tommorrow 3rd July, 2014.
