Bands I dont want to play (in a dj set) anymore but have to cos peeps keep on asking for the same stuff: Disturbed, American Headcharge, Soil, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit (first albums great tho!! ), Mr Manson (last best album-mechanical animals) , Korn (last best album: Untouchables), Drowning Pool, Papa Roach, System Of Down (I love S.O.D but they keep asking for the same songs :-( ), Slipknot (I love slipknot but they keep on asking for the same songs) - Ive probably missed out some bands. Some of these bands Ive mentioned are bearable-and even likeable/awesome...they just need to ask for different songs off different albums or different songs off the same albums. Its not me thats just bored and tired of the same songs/bands-Ive had complaints: could you play some more up to date music/play a different song by that band. Believe me, I am trying my best-I cant please all the peeps all of the time. And I know I have to play the same tired requests, cos theyre floor fillers (mostly) and requests-its one of the requirements of a dj (and playing new bands/tunes or bands/tunes that dont get played that often-which is my favourite thing about djing is a requirement too)...but 10 years down the line I dont want to be asked to play bodies or halo again. Polite rant over. Davey boy. Xxx
