Bands its ur job to get urself known before you hit the stage. 4-5 members in a band that gives each member to invite 5 people each with a date per person. And your girl friends better be selling tshirts or loading gear or make em pay. That gets you 20-30 people to see you and if you sound great there should be 50 that will pay to see you. YES! Being in a band IS a popularity contest! Rent a few rehearsal rooms throw a few parties with a couple cases of beers before making a club hire bartenders security sounds guys and door person so you can play to an empty house.
