Bangladesh- a country endowed with enchanting scenic beauty, mighty rivers, sunny beaches, historical relics dating back to the 3rd century B.C., and a colourful tribal life. Sylhets Tea Gardens, Coxs Bazaars Sea-Beach (one of the longest in the world), the Royal Bengal Tiger, deers and the Sundarbans (the largest mangrove forest in the world) are just some of the tourist attractions. Ancient mosques, Buddhist monasteries, Hindu temples, monuments and landmarks dot the rich fertile countryside. Bangladesh is a country with a population of 155 million people, of which about 90% are Muslims. Nearly one-tenth of the total Muslim population of the world live in Bangladesh. It is a country with a homogenous population, without any ethnic divide. Although the country is poor, it has unexploited natural and mineral resources.
