Bank robbery in Eldersburg “Sheriff’s Deputies searching for Bank Robber” Eldersburg, Carroll County, Maryland, August 8, 2013 ---- The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding the identity and location of a black male in his 30’s approximately 6-4” tall, and weighing approximately 220-250lbs who robbed the Bank of America in the 6400 Block of Ridge Road this morning. At approximately 9:20am, the suspect entered the bank wearing a black and orange baseball cap, white t-shirt, grey sweatshirt, blue jeans and black shoes, brandished a handgun and demanded money. No one was injured during the robbery and the suspect fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency. He may be a passenger in an older model, burgundy Honda or Toyota 4 door sedan similar to a Camry.
