Batch 89 met today, January 24th, Feast of MHC at Bacolod City. Present were: Lunastar Magolino, Donna Ganoy Abihay, Lissa Manero, Ma Maria Teresa Sobrepeña Aaron, Dinah Rubelos, Lucille Torres, Rose Cam, and Marie Grace Bacolor. We have recognized our Alma Maters call for help and have pledged P100,000.00 on or before Feb 28th to prevent its closure come March 2015. We do pray that the rest of the batches will present their own action plans and initiatives tomorrow, January 25, at SMMS, Vicmico. Now is the time to pay back our Alma Mater for a solid spiritual formation and quality education that we have been blessed to receive. Just as little as P250 a month or P3,000 a year per alumnae. Those who have been blessed more can give more! With this amount, we can at least assist in this years operational expenses of the school plus another year of operations. After addressing the immediate need to keep afloat, that is the time to tackle the long-term plans. We do hope our dear Salesian sisters can feel how deeply we are concerned on this. Dear sisters, we hope that in this time of crisis, we can all unite as we are all part of one big Salesian family. We need to have humility and openness to discuss these family matters with each other.
