Beautiful Cookie lost the fight and passed away a couple of hours ago. She was just too sick and without a costly autopsy to confirm exact cause the vet said it could have been a bad bacterial infection that attacked her liver, there was thought she had hepatitis, quite a few things actually. Unfortunately what ever Cookie had she showed no signs of previously and it was fast acting once she became ill. My heart breaks for Jenny Davis, her husband and their staffy who all fell in love with Cookie the moment they laid eyes on her and are understandably completely devastated. To have only shared a few days together their love and bond was evident. Im so sorry Jenny, my love and thoughts are with you. To Emma Bruce Cookies previous owner who is completely heartbroken, my love and thoughts are with you and your family also. To have received such news about your girl, im so sorry. I wish I had better news for you all but sadly and through tears I write this. I thank you for all your thoughts and words of well wishes. I have organised for Cookie to be cremated, and she is now at peace. I picture and believe Cookie is happy, she running wild and carefree waiting for the day when she sees her beloved family again at Rainbow Bridge. RIP baby girl xx
