Beautiful eyes There are times I remember the love, There are days I feel this sting of pain, Happiness can make people push and shove, Yet never find the hope that keeps us sane. I have loved and lost in my lifes past, I have had my heart broken and repaired, Hope was something I thought wouldnt last, So when I spoke to you I was not prepared, In your heart I saw love and happiness, In your eyes I saw beauty and grace, Only I was just another man full of bliss, Your love was anchored in another place, I may have been a fool for love in years past, I may have felt the way love can burn, Never before have I fell for anyone so fast, You have so much to give and I to learn, Now I know my chances are close to none, Now I know my words may mean little, Even so I must speak my mind and not run, For love cannot be shown in riddles.
