Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him. The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. Lamentations 3:22-26 What a beautiful day the Lord has given! This verse came to mind not long after I woke up this morning. This is so good to know no matter what season in life we are in! His mercies are new everyday! His compassion and patience are overwhelming! Im so humbled and thankful for his grace and faithfulness that continues to pour out daily. I hope this blesses your soul as well. My dads lungs are not strong enough to sustain him. The mass in his left lung has caused it to collapse and his right lung has COPD. The left breathing tube has been constricted due to the mass. This cancer is in the top 5 for most aggressive. The only option is to start chemo to hopefully shrink it. His liver is not functioning very well either so they are not sure how his body will handle the chemo. This is our only option to get off the ventilator and prolong his days.... from a human perspective.... BUT GOD... my 2 favorite words in the Bible! He has all power and with him nothing is impossible! Pray that with me today as we start the chemo. Love to you all and thank you so very much for your continued prayers and love!
