Because of the reasons listed above and other reasons, and because of the dangerous situation at all levels in the Rif now , the ”18 September Movement” emanating from the Riffian people appeals to international community to support their demands for the liberation of the Rif and its full independence over its land with its historical and geographical borders in order to build a Riffian modern state on the basis of sovereignty, freedom and independence. In this way the Rif will achieve social and economic welfare of all Riffian population. The”18 September Movement” announces the start of its work for the independence of the Rif. The movement asks all Riffians inside and aboard and the Riffians who believe in the option of independence from the Moroccan occupation to intensify efforts which will contribute to the building of an independent and sovereign Rif.
