Been a hard time so far. Our plane was late from Auckland to Melbourne due to a starting valve falling. We got rescheduled and up graded to business class for the Melbourne dubui leg. This was great especially for the longest of our flights (14hrs) We then had a 7hr flight to Madrid. When we arrived there we found out our bags were lost. So we picked up the hire car and drove 5hrs to Jordis. We stayed the night at Pascuet offroad. We picked the van up from there which seemed to have a flat battery. Turned out to be loose battery terminals. We then took the three wasp nest out of the van and headed down to Barcelona to return the hire car. We thought at this stage that our bags were going to be at Barcelona at 6pm today. So we went to the beach to kill sometime. I actually dont like the beaches over here, the only thing I like is that the sea is warm. Apart from that I will take the beach at home any day. We then got another call about the bags and they werent going to make it to Barcelona till tomorrow night. So we went the airport again to figure out a new plan. We are getting the bags sent to hippels in Germany. That is where my new bike and race engine are sitting. We then began to head towards Germany and are now in a hotel in France and have no gps to find hippels. But we will get there. I cant wait to see my new bike, the Sherco Factory Replica, but are worried about the bags as with out the gear in them it will be very hard to compete.
