Been awhile since I have posted an update. Kayla has had a second opinion at Siteman Cancer center. We had got our hopes up that we would get some better news, but left with more questions. After the dr looked at all the info and tissue samples kayla was given a diagnosis of a rare lung cancer that mimics colon cancer. Just a handful of known cases and no case studies. Therefore they do not know alot about this cancer. Such as if its treatable, curable or even the type of treatment she should be on. So as you can imagine it was a long tearful drive home. So many unknowns. But she did get some good news that day as well. The tumors in thr breasts and lung have some shrinkage so she will continue the chemo she is on for the time being. Then when she has the CT scan at the end of treatment we will go from there. She has a wonderful relationship with the Lord and a peace has surrounded her. And all the love and prayers from family and friends and wonderful community. I know she will be cancer free one of these days. She wants to give her testimony to help others.... and she will. Thank you so much for all the support.
