Been hearing a few rumours about me have an unfair advantage with the Focus and Gary the Knockhill presenter had a comment at the prize giving about how much milk you would need to sell to be able to do what I do, (suggesting the fact its money thats giving me an advantage to win) I have to argue with this as the other few cars in Pro Class are equally as expensive to build, and they are modern technology using state of the art ECUs and trick bits available for Japanese cars. My car is an actual dinosaur, built 6 years ago with 1995 diffs 1995 gearbox 1995 running gear 1995 electronics 1986 designed engine. The fact that im fortunate enough to be friends with Andrew Gallacher and is really good at putting things together is just good luck. Also have a shit hot race team Scott Mcminn Callum Baird Lindsay Shaw who care and get stuck in. On the saturday i was 5 seconds clear was down to disconnecting my brain before stepping into the car, are it was terribly slippy and 0 visibility with the fog. And on the sunday only a couple of seconds in it as i was willing to push through the problem of track temperature destroying the grip on the NSF tire... I dont often rant but its my turn as this has slightly annoyed me. Rant over…. LOL
