Before my final thoughts.. I want to highlight several Accomplishments and Milestones for us last night... First - Congratulations to Chris Christopher Taco Padilla on his successful defense of the XFS Title. Lets look at the numbers and recognize that Chris has remained unblemished now in 10 events with us 5-0 XAFS and 5-0 XFS and each and every win has been amazing. He was able to maneuver our very first XFS Lightweight Champ Kris Kris N Nicole Armbrister into a favorable position and get the victory but let it be known that we have very few fighters that are as tough and gritty as Kris in our promotions. Kris will be back for sure and now Chris has beaten his second former XFS lightweight champ pushing him well on his way to the UFC. Continuing with the Pro Card... we welcomed France and Poland Fighters to the cage as Johnathan Ramon and Tomasz Jakubiec fought very well and showed great pride and sportsmanship as athletes! Los Angeles Native - Jordan Wright training out of Jackson - Wink MMA has opened the west coast doors to their team with XFS with a very impressive victory Joe Peukert welcomed us and the crowd to a very fast and skilled finish from being out of the cage for 2 years. He came to make a statement that he was back! And certainly not last or least Paul Blancaflor, Wachiim Waachiim SpiritWolf, Andrew Lagdaan and Ray Elizalde all are making noise to me to give them title shots...Not a bad problem to have at all on a pro end! So many terrific performances from our Pros! Then XAFS was as action packed as it gets. Lets face it, we by far are blessed with the BEST amateur talent in the world and our XAFS shows dont require strobe lights, fog shows, and gimmicks to make our athletes come to us. They come because there is no fairer matchups and talent pools then the one Roy Nickerson has put together. PERIOD! So lets welcome our newest XAFS Champs: Adrian Najera winning the 125 Interim Belt (Victor Rosas retains his title until he is healthy to return to the cage) Jose Aparicio takes the 135 title as Mike Andaya is heading to the Pros Ilima-Lei Macfarlane captures the 135 belt title as she is truly ready for the Pro ranks and could do major damage in right now on the top stages of MMA! All are deserving of the success they have achieved!
