Before the slapstick bits of this post, Id first like to address the idea of the ALS ice bucket challenge. (Feel free to skip the short rant and go straight to alsa.org and donate monies, however.) Its been an extremely successful campaign, regardless of personal beliefs or annoyances. The Challenge has greatly raised awareness and skyrocketed donations to an exponential level. More than anything though, it has brought to light something people try not to think about. And that speaks volumes of hope for the countless people on this planet whom suffer. Not just in the ALS community but for all points of human suffering in the world. If a simple act can breathe life into a topic most people shy away from and turn many of them to raise funding for the research, I believe that goes to show the passion that is the human spirit can unite us all on other fronts and causes too. That, my friends with faces (and without) is something special. Certainly, it is not something to shun due to happenstance or technicality. That being said, here is a video of me dumping ice & water on my head. Again, kindly go to alsa.org and donate to help advocate for research and for humanity as a whole. I nominate Sean Kraepel, Joey Stockman, Sarrah Johnson and Joy and Vern Cross for the next round of viral activism. :] Disclaimer: Uhhhh... #IceBucketChallenge
