Bellas neurosurgery appointment went well! Dr. Stevenson is very pleased with her progress and the MRI results! The second pic shows the MRI of her brain (left) from Thurs. and (right) at one week old. As you can see on the right how much fluid was on her brain -all the black and her brain is pushed up against the sides. In the left pic, there is much less fluid thanks to her shunt and more room for her brain to grow. The only negative from todays appointment is the talk of another surgery on her spine for re-tethering before she has the scoliosis surgery. We must get through Thursdays surgery first! The doc also loved her yellow! Thank you all for the prayers for good results!
