Beneath the landscape of the trailer park on Consaul Street, there is a history that might surprise you. A clue to the past is found in bricks stamped Ohio. The Ohio Brick Co. began operations on their Consaul St. yard in 1902 and was long associated with the Kuhlman Co.. After the yard closed in the 1940s, the quarry from which the clay was dug became a city dump, and today, the trailer park sits on the site of the landfill.
