Benevolence. Its been on my mind. My mom was the written word. Throughout my life, the memories I have of her was a woman who would pull over on the side of the road to give you a ride home, so you wouldnt have to wait for a bus. She would give up her lunch at work to someone who was hungry, claiming she ate a big breakfast when she herself hadnt eaten. Shed give the last dollar in her pocket, the shirt off her back. So many things I witnessed, would take days to list them all. They werent random acts of kindness, they were purposeful acts of love, consideration, and sympathy. She never had much but she had enough. She died with nothing but the physical contents that would fit in an 8x8 room. No money. Nothing material. I hope she knows she was loved, that her life impacted so many with her small contributions that changed the world for some. She was amazing. Love you, momma.
