Between killing wildflowers and creature habitat on the ground, whatever the tree fiasco was about, nearly allowing a parking lot at Winfrey, and not outlawing a restaurant at Boy Scout Hill from the start, there are plenty of recent examples to present as a compilation, might have more visceral effect on the general population than just Boy Scout Hill. Groupings and patterns are more convincing. We see the patterns because we are connected and active in an existing discussion, but other people may not know that this keeps popping up again and again, so the idea that we are trying to keep development from spreading might look like overreaction. We need to show that we are not blowing this out of proportion, that killing wildflowers and knocking down trees may actually be part of an effort to degrade the park over long term so that private business can save it. Its not just about one hill, we know that, and we need to make sure that very convincing angle is promoted to draw attention to this problem.
