Between sin and sanction what comes first the blood, or the pacifistic rage of a 7 year old child writing off his death with barrel of a gun. Why doesnt he pick up a book and study instead of throwing around gang signs and making fresh rhymes. Because he longs for a purpose, for his true emotions to be surfaced. He cant think straight, the peer pressure is building, using a lighter to burn away his stress, cigarette in his hand, though its not as devilish as his father who beats him for cursing. Just to ease the pain he pops another pill only for the fact hes a really good actor but he cant retain it mentally enough to ask can he hit lighter.... still maybe the mind wouldnt trap him in such a dark place if he had a space to call his own. A home. Does it have to be so hard for someone to break away. To become a hero of his people and pave the way. Though movie stars and music videos pave the day. Does it hurt, does it bleed? The cuts of the past are two deep..... now he is down on his knees trying to prevent the end in the blackest pits of his soul that christ will save him from defeat, damn this is getting old.
