Bhag Milkha Bhag: 3/5 Biggest mistake of this movie, its background music, this is the only factor which decides the score of a scene where dialogues are not important and intense things need to be highlighted. Remember the scene and music of “Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar” when Aamir Khan is racing on his bicycle, what feelings come into your mind but in this movie irritating song will come up “Bhag Milkha Bhag Milkha Bhag Milka…” and unprepared picturization will crop into with that. This movie somewhere could have been brought the blend of “Chak De India” but Farhan Akhtar’s acting has lost the race with Shahrukh by miles and miles. Also, the agony of partition which was shown in Gadar could have been imported but here also direction lost the race and hence this movie lost the medal to get the accolades. Movie can be watched because it tells the story of one of the legendary of our country Milkha Singh. One more reason to watch this because you will see Dilip Tahil who generally plays the role of villain in movies is playing the role of Nehru, so getting practice of a character has given a chance to play the role of a person who was best of that in reality.
