Bhutan Music Festival is the first ever music festival to be held in Bhutan. It will feature rock and roll, jazz and blues bands internationally... The festival will be held on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of October (2014); coinciding with Thimphu Tshechu. Im excited... our taste for music differs from individual to individual... and listening to a variety of live music bands is a totally different experience from listening to music on soundcloud or even tv. And... I can bet its gonna make our youth happy... why not? Happiness can be a personal choice... cant it? And... if its open to our local bands as well, Im even more excited. I know many of our Bhutanese individuals (youth in particular) need to do this... simply because they love to do it... and have the talent to do it. So, lets spread the word... will you, please? [P.S. Music is one of the multiple intelligences/talents within human capacity... not something opposite of or lower than academic ability (as many tend to think!)]
