Big Thanks to Ukrainian World Congress Big Thanks to Ukrainian World Congress, with the assistance of their Director of Humanitarian Initiatives, Ulana Suprun in Kyiv and a generous donation from Gene Jurkiw of 10,000 USD for the purchase of pre-hospital medical equipment not currently available in Ukraine, including hemostatic gauze, chest seals and combat tourniquet. Equipment will be distributed to various cities along with training in Tactical Combat Casualty Care* (TCCC) to members of the Red Cross Rescue Teams. Additionally, the Red Cross and other volunteers will now begin to train Ukraines military units in TCCC and the use of this life saving medical equipment in combat conditions.
