Big Up Gobophotography Glasgow Miff Morris for the review and banging pics :) Had a great night at MMM2... Already Looking forward to the next one #Deadsoundz Review: Deadsoundz Inc make a clear, concise stance in their lyrical flow, igniting sparks of strong mentality, drawing focus towards aspects of lifes inner city experience, along with unwavering determination to progress musically, in heart, spirit & mind. Their music is an uninhibited liberation of expression that holds on many levels a knowledge & wisdom that can only be felt through real life situation. Glaswegian Trio; Subkonsious, A- Macc & Steve ET are well respected individualist artists who offer a wide array of lyrical talent to the UK Hip-Hop scene, through solo projects & ultimately as a collective. Their vitality gleams through, in their unshakable display of self expression & mutual unity, creating an intelligent, rhythmical groove which we all can get down too. Opening for Mad Mental Music 2, hosted in Glasgow’s Ivory Blacks, just last month, the trio dominated the stage with raw infectious vocals, projecting a sample/scratch style that resonated to the core. Latching onto an old skool sample sound, the boys have amalgamated a perfect blend of old and new. Their sample sounds are a reminder & taste of old skool hip-hop with a fresh current rapping approach. Their projection is direct & spontaneous, holding a strong flame of sincerity & passion; there is no denying their effusive manner, as both upfront rappers waxed lyrical to the atmospheric crowd who in turn could not help but delve into & embrace deadsoundz expression. This was my first encounter with Deadsounz Inc & I have to say how impressed I was by their talents, both as individual artists & as a collective. I feel personally drawn to the power of words and the importance of self expression & being understood. I find that Deadsoundz Inc have allot to say within their music that is well worth listening to & I can not help but feel respect towards how they channel their sentiments, ideas & thoughts through the music they conjure. The space between music & words allows time to digest what has been said. I feel this is very important in music. Life can be too cluttered; in many ways music also. Deadsoundz have mastered this perfectly as they allow even space within their music, between samples, beats & words, which in return allows potency & a time for mindfulness.
