Big shout out to NADA athlete Brendan Doyle who had a minor set - TopicsExpress

Big shout out to NADA athlete Brendan Doyle who had a minor set back last weekend having sustained a knee injury! This hasnt stopped him however! Brendan has still been consistent in NADA HQ having been given a modified training program to work around his injury! With some research indicating that training the un-injured limb can result in a crossover effect to the injured limb. The desired result being a maintenance of strength in the injured limb- so he doesnt lose all that he has gained with us!! The biggest issue with many athletes is they see an injury as a roadblock! In many cases we can still get work in ensuring that when we fully return to play/performing were not playing catch up on ourselves. All too common do we see injured athletes return to playing only to reinsure themselves because theyve either overworked trying to get back fit or that they werent ready/fit to keep up with demands of the game! The aim is to keep working! Developing the physical aspects but also the psychological aspects to training! Injury can be as much a toll on the body psychologically as it is physically! The message is Keep Busy! Keep Focused! Enjoy The Journey Well Done Brendan!! Thanks, The NADA Team
