Blast at a shopping street called Church Street (Off MG Road), Bangalore. 2 people injured. This seems to be a cowardly, but very strategic act by someone who wants to induce fear and spread communal tension because: 1) MG Road is the favorite road for New Years midnight celebration. By creating such panic just 2 days before New Years near MG Road, the intention seems to create fear so that people dont even go to that Road for next few days. 2) This happened at a street called Church Street (Off MG Road). There is no Church in the street. But due to quick propagation of information all over India through social media and communication gap, it will be mis-interpreted as Blast in Church at Bangalore. i.e Everyone will think this is an attack on a religion (minority religion). This creates communal tension. Already several news channels have been reporting it as Blast in Church. It is false. There was a blast and 2 are injured, but there is no Church in that street. Please tell your friends also not to fall for propaganda because we must be united and peaceful at this hour. There should be no mis-communication/propaganda.
