Bluebirds 3 Ipswich 1. A second win in a row for the boys. Another good team performance in very windy conditions. Great credit to Russell Slade. We are organised, keep our shape and we are playing with a great determination all over the pitch. Ipswich went ahead with to be fair a tremendous shot, but unlike earlier in the season we fought back. And what a strike again by Peter Whittingham. There goal was unstoppable in my view, Whitts shot was even better. It was difficult to play good football in the conditions, but Russell clearly likes his team to play a good passing style. Welsh international Jonathan Williams was showing up well for the visitors especially in the first half. Eventually we took the lead with Macheda scoring for the second match in a row. A third goal followed by Le Fondre, although I didnt get a good view to confirm the scorer. In my opinion a just reward for the hard work Le Fondre puts in. Some really good individual performances in a good team display . Brayson I thought had his best game I think, if Whitts is allowed to get forward like this, hes sure to get his share of goals. So many of the boys are looking better with Russell & Scott giving them confidence, organisation and above all a run of games. The crowd have been given a lift and belief as well and are truly driving the team on. Finally I want to mention Fabio. He was absolutely tremendous last night. although he got away with a few dodgy tackles (not the only one) his commitment and no lack of ability shone through and he lifted the crowd time and again. Well done the boys. I have probably waffled on a bit much now, so I will finish with words I have not been able to use for a while. WE MARCH ON. Come on City. Andy
