Bone tired tonight. Trip to Great Bend and back today. My poor little car is totaled. It would cost more to fix it than it is worth and mechanic said he couldnt guarantee it would be safe. I am driving a nice 2014 Hyundai rental right now. I guess I will have to go car shopping as soon as I get the settlement check. Does anyone know of a dependable but cheap car or pick up for sale? Last Friday on our way to Garden City I hit a half of a truck wheel (about 35 pounds) that was in my lane, oncoming traffic so I couldnt swerve. We knew it was a hole in the oil pan at that time but it was much worse. Thankfully Jan and I were ok. Thank God. It could have been much worse.
