Boner Candidate #2 - Power trip at the Gateway Yesterday, my wife and I went to the Gateway to take some pictures of my sister and her fiance for their wedding invitations. Their first date was at the gateway so they wanted the pictures taken there and since they couldn’t afford a professional photographer, they asked my wife and I to take some pictures. My wife and I were just standing outside the Megaplex talking while we waited for my sister and her fiance to arrive. A mall cop approached us and asked what we were doing. We told him he were just talking while we waited for my sister to arrive so we could take some engagement pictures. He told us that it is against Gateway policy for anyone to take pictures there and since it is private property, if we take pictures, he would ban us from the Gateway. We told him that we see people taking pictures at the fountains all the time. He said that it was against the rules. Later my sister arrived and we walked over near the fountains and started taking some pictures. The mall cop had followed us and told us that he had to escort us from the premises and that we would be banned from the Gateway for the next 3 months. I’m not sure why the Gateway would have a policy against people taking pictures. You would think they would want people to take pictures of themselves having fun and posting it to social media. Nope, not the Gateway, this mall cop on a power trip harassed us and made sure we couldn’t take any pictures at the Gateway. I don’t know the name of the anal retentive mall cop that harassed us, but his picture is attached. Regards, Brian Young
