Both oil and vinegar can have great health benefits, but neither - TopicsExpress

Both oil and vinegar can have great health benefits, but neither really tastes as good separately as when they are mixed together. Peanut butter and jelly are delicious in a sandwich, but alone...not nearly as much fun. Ammonia and bleach each have great cleaning properties, but put them together and disaster can occur. What if we were to look at relationships the same as we do these combinations? What if we mix the great qualities we both possess and create something fun and worthwhile, but when it comes time to clear up or clean up an issue, instead of being helpful to one another, we make things more toxic? If we could understand that we all have our goodness, our abilities and our issues, we wouldn’t be blaming one another for what we come to the table with. We wouldn’t judge one another for what we each need to resolve within ourselves, and when we can’t come together and blend perfectly, we wouldn’t be faulting one another for what the combination turns into. When relationships cause us pain and they need to end, if we were to just move towards acceptance and understanding that what we are each made up of may not bring out the best in one another, then perhaps it would be easier to love, forgive and move on. After all, the right combination does exists, and we will know we found it when everything makes us better together than when apart.
