Brandon Snyder ...I appreciate the respect and gesture you made in honoring the McFalls tonight at the Collinsville Game. I believe with four (4) of our 6 coaching staff members having a long history in Collinsville and with the McFalls, it was more than appropriate for us (GCHS) to respectfully honor the family. I thank you so much for your kind heart and how well you see the things in this world that really truly matter. When Danny McFall shared with our players as his wife took our photo that it was his brother who lost his grandson....I believe our players truly understood how important that moment was in time! And you my friend understand what life is all about........ loving and reaching out to those people who need to be loved and embraced at any given moment in time. I love Danny McFall. What a great Christian man who I have an unbelievable respect for, and always have since I was about 8 years old! Having said that, and as I shared with Mel Roustio tonight that our gesture of not wishing for our starters to be announced and a statement to the McFalls delivered in its place, which he believed was apropos based on the aforementioned history....I AGREE. Having said that, I find it to be extreme poetic justice that both microphones available to announce starters for the game were non-functioning to provide those services. Coincidences? I think not! Congrats to the #5 Kahoks who held off the #11 GC Warriors 67-63. Great battle tonight in the SWC Warrriors...Super Proud of your Character GC!
