Breaking FB silence to make an important announcement: Rona got a teaching job and signed her contract today! She has been trying to accomplish this goal for SO long--about twelve years now--and has been disappointed so many times by setbacks. I could not be more proud of her persistence. She is a natural teacher and its a shame shes never had the opportunity to have her own classroom before now--she is exactly the kind of person we need working with our kids. Rona will be working with at-risk students in an alternative program, assisting them in their reading skills. Though she is a little anxious, I KNOW she will be great!! Love you, honey!
