Breaking News - April 1, 2014: In a Rose Garden ceremony the President has announced his support for the How a Bill Becomes a Law Act. The President said, No more waivers, no more delays, no more signing statements. Congress is back in charge of making law. The proposal would take effect Jan of 2017. Congressional leaders today also announced the bipartisan Enumerated Powers and Anti-Faction Act. In a joint release the House Speaker and Senate Majority leader said, During a tour of Congress a 1st grade class found a copy of the Constitution and pointed out Article 1, Section 8 to us. The provisions sound like a good idea so effective after we retire all bills will need to comply with the enumerated powers. We will also be implementing George Washingtons recommendation to avoid factions and will be banning political conferences and caucuses in Congress so that lawmakers are able to focus on representing their states and districts.
