Breaking News Schools and government offices get holiday on 22 & 23 Sept The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah issued a royal decree on Monday declaring two days holidays for schools and government offices in Saudi Arabia, reported Arab News. The holidays are granted for the occasion of the Saudi National Day, which falls on 23 September. The royal decree stated, “As this year’s National Day falls on the second day of working days, Sunday has been declared a holiday for students of all academic levels as well as government employees.” The announcement was welcomed enthusiastically by Saudis and expatriates alike. Now, students and government employees will get four days holidays starting on Friday ending on Monday.
