#Breaking: The High Court has blocked the return of 153 asylum seekers to the Sri Lankan navy. The injunction was granted after an urgent hearing, following an application by refugee advocates. They were seeking an order with the intention of protecting a boatload of 153 people claiming to be Tamil refugees who made contact with Australian authorities after leaving southern India. The interim injunction will be in place until tomorrow afternoon, when the matter is set to be heard in the High Court.
