#Breaking_News: Fayose Slapped Ekiti High Court Judge, Justice Adeyeye Ekiti State Governor-Elect,Ayodele Fayose this morning inside the court premises where the Election Petition Tribunal is sitting, slapped Justice John Adeyeye of Ekiti High Court and ordered his thugs to beat him up for having the audacity to challenge Fayoses presence in court. The judge’s offence was that he advised Fayose to prevail upon his supporters who were becoming unruly within the court premises An attempt by another judge, Justice C. Akintayo to intervene and rescue his colleague who has been beaten to a pulp, earned him his own dirty slaps while his clothes were torn into shreds. The thugs thereafter made for the office of the Chief Judge and destroyed all court records there, while smashing the windows. The CJs clerk was beaten into a state of coma while the CJ was ferried into safety by the security agents. Justice Adeyeye is presently receiving treatment at a private hospital. You will recall that in the same court on Monday, that was how another judge was prevented from sitting while lawyers and litigants were beaten up on the orders of Fayose! That is the man they said Ekiti preferred as their Governor. Did Ekiti people actually and truly vote for this thug? Does Fayose want to assume power before swearing in? Why is he so desperate? So judges can no longer perform their duties? What is the Commissioner of Police doing? What is the IGP doing? What is the Chief Justice of Nigeria doing? Uganda under Idi-Amin was not as bad as this! Are we in a banana Republic now? Men of good will should rise up now and stop this animal from further desecrating the temple of Justice. **************************** #Press_Release Following a fresh attack on a High Court in Ado-Ekiti, all courts in Ekiti State have been shut down indefinitely. A statement by the Chief Registrar, Mr Obafemi Fasanmi, on Thursday said the decision to shut down the courts was taken by the Chief Judge of Ekiti State, Justice Ayodeji Daramola, to safeguard the lives of judicial workers and litigants having matters in courts. “It would be recalled that on Monday, 22nd September, 2014, some political thugs invaded the High Court Number 6 in Ado-Ekiti where Hon. Justice Olusegun Ogunyemi was presiding. His sitting for that day was disrupted and aborted and the Hon. Judge had to be ferried away by a detachment of police officers after he had been harassed and chased around his office by these political thugs. “Again on Thursday, 25th September 2014, another set of political thugs in their hundreds invaded the High Court premises in Ado-Ekiti and in the process assaulted Hon. Justice John Adeyeye of the High Court Number 3 in Ado-Ekiti by beating him up and tearing his suit into shreds while the police officers on guard looked unconcerned and uninterested as judges, magistrates and other members of staff had to run for their dear lives, while court properties were either damaged or destroyed,” the statement read. It also added that the office of the CJ was not spared as some documents were also torn. The release said courts in the state would reopen when adequate security is guaranteed judges, magistrates, judicial workers, litigants and other users. Tension in the state has been on the rise since matters relating to the June 21 poll are being handled by courts. **************************** #Yinka_Badmus_Wrote If there is something that has been the hindrance for the progress of nigeria than its LAWLESS. Imagine for a governor elect (fayose) to slap a sitting judge? And to the extents of causing mayhem across the state over a mere tribunal processing? If indeed he (fayose) was sure of his victory that it was free and fair than he should allow the judiciary to carry out their job. If this is the way the incumbent governor (fayemi) get his stolen mandate back am sure ekiti wont know peace in his 4year tenure. Fayose has not been swearing in yet mayhem has stated erupt, the peace that has been in ekiti for the past 4year has now gone for good. Is fayose has to be blame? No. The blame must be put on electorate who sold their future for stomach infrastructurewhich consist of a cup of rice and a bottle of kerosene. For the next 4year I bet if ekiti will know peace? #pls_whats_on_ur_mind?
