Brent and Easton have been asleep since 9pm. I have tried but I keep waking up! I was scrolling through fb and notice how many peoples statuses are about fighting with their spouse and how they cant stand them etc. So, I just wanted to take a moment to say how much I love Brent. No, we arent the perfect couple. We have our arguments like everyone does. But, we never go to bed mad, and we never make our child pay for our problems. When you fight around a child it changes who they are. It molds them into who they will be. Im not saying Im perfect, and Lord knows Easton has seen me upset (which a normal emotion children will be exposed to), but Brent and I try our best to keep him out of our little spats. Im so thankful we dont fight a lot, and it breaks my heart seeing so many children hurt because their parents cant get along. When you have a child, its time to grow up and be responsible for that life youve created. Its time to put your child first and foremost. Children notice every.little.thing. Example: the other day I was walking outside to crank the car. Easton kissed Brent bye and I was going to when I came back in to get my purse. Easton noticed I didnt kiss Brent and he came outside pulling me back inside saying mommy, give daddy kiss! Pay attention to what you do around your child. They are sponges who absorb everything. Good and bad. They take it in.
