Brin Fitzpatrick: - This isnt a good story for the Harper haters and the Trudeau crowd. Macleans has compared some stats between 2005 and 2011 and 2013. They are adjusted for inflation . Number one all income groups [except the top 1%] has a significantly higher after tax income. The top bracket is 6.9% higher and the lowest bracket is 10% higher. The average income was $3,200 higher in 2011. What is amazing is the developed world went through the biggest crash and brutal recession since 1929 in 2008. Their are a number of other international studies showing that Canadas middle class has expanded and grown at a very healthy rate under the Harper government. One thing is perfectly clear is the Canadian middle class has done much better then the USA middle class under the Obama administration. I sure hope people are focused on substance rather then media fluff and negativity come the 2015 election. If you like fluff over substance go watch another Hollywood movie and do everyone a favor and dont vote. My, how inconvenient...
