And by tourists, it means targeting overnight visitors, who stay in commercial lodging and spend money with local businesses. According to the latest data, those numbers are growing, both in terms of visitors and total estimated economic impact. Plus, a majority of visitors surveyed indicated they plan to return. The winter of 2014 — January through April — brought 127,100 overnight visitors, up nearly 10 percent 2013.
