Brinya has had one round of chemo so far... She started a second round yesterday for the second bout (SP?) of cancer. In the meantime, I thought the docs were lying about there being a lump, seeing as how they never did let me see the scans. However, last Sunday or maybe the night before, I was studying my daughter and realized I could see that lump plain as day :( Why is the chemo not shrinking it!? I hate chemo! I hate cancer! She has a consult with the radiologist on Thursday. They will begin radiation shortly thereafter. Brinya has been coughing all week. I thought it may be from the weather in Florida but she coughed no matter what temp/ how much humidity. Her ear has been bothering her. Her head has started to hurt. She was acting lethargic today, something she did the first time around before we discovered what the issue was.They scheduled a ct scan last minute today. We will get the results of that tmrw. All prayers are appreciated. Thank you to those who have been doing so already. Your diligence is appreciated muchly. I understand there are more natural remedies that have been proven in some circles. At this point though I think there are enough people experimenting on her. We pray that her pain may be minimal, her appetite may be healthy, side effects from chemo minimal, and results from chemo very quick. She has a full schedule for scans in about 2 1/2 weeks.
