Anthony Ackroyd, the nationally renowned comedian who plays the Ruddster, will be running as the official Bullet Train candidate in the Griffith by-election. His familiarity with the deep foundations (and flaws) of Rudd’s character makes him the ideal person to connect with the voters of Griffith. He basically already knows them, and they know him! Anthony decided to join the fight for an Australian Bullet Train because he knows that High Speed Rail is a great project for the nation - and he also couldn’t stomach the prospect of another humourless, droll campaign that puts the nation to sleep. The Ruddster would never sit back and watch an election happen in his own backyard – he had to act! “I really like the environmental benefits of the project being realised.
