Bunbury resident Jamie Goodchild was fishing down on the Collie River on Wednesday, when he apparently saw something crawling along the embankment. Closer inspection revealed this giant Mud Crab. Mud crabs are occasionally caught in the area to the north of the Collie River, and rumour has it that a local transported a number of mud crabs from the North of WA some years back, and they have possibly survived and thrived since.
