Busters Smash Bulldogs 51/5 The Matabeleland Busters got off to a flying start in their first fixture since Ndlovu RFC Pulled out of the MidMat Tournament. Busters were the favourates going into the match and Mat Smith captained a side with big forwards and quick, crafty backs. Bulldogs however were much improved from their last Division 1 match and looked to be staying in touch early on in the game. The tackling of the Bulldogs was unsustainable though as the bigger Busters boys smashed over when they got close to the line. The score line would have been far greater had Busters hands not let them down, with three balls being spilled by players who had already crossed the try line. Other MidMat hopefulls Panthers will be Busters next target this coming weekend. Busters curtain raise the Warriors at Hartsfield on Saturday 29th when they meet Panthers 1st side Next weekend.
