Busy morning so far, freshened up my shirts, spent Winter not - TopicsExpress

Busy morning so far, freshened up my shirts, spent Winter not being worn, and sorted out my ingredients cupboards, found a lot of stuff hidden. Decided to make use of some of these, well, to make a lovely meal for this afternoon. Peeled four large onions, popped a large knob of butter into the wok, rough chopped the onions, and let them fry at a low heat. Had some veggies from yesterday, so, once the onions softened, added peas, carrots and green beans to the wok, with butter beans and some corn. Have loads of garlic paste, so, to have the extra oil, placed a teaspoon of that in, plus some granulated onion for balance. Meanwhile, I was steaming a large amount of brown and white basmati rice, and then poured a carton of tomato juice into the wok, two large splashes of Worcestershire Sauce, and keep stirring and warming the wok. After 20 minutes, the rice was ready, I steamed it with Turmeric, the wok liquid was reduced, so, into the wok with the rice. Lots of stirring, a hint of Encona Hot Chilli Sauce, a bit of Maldon Sea Salt, stir in with gas on, and then, once the flavour was balanced, turn off the heat. Covered the wok, and leave to chill out till later. Ill re-heat it, and the flavour should be richer then, serve with fine sliced boiled eggs (I love my German egg slicer) and enjoy. Lovely day tod, nearly 60F, very warm for this time of year. Have a great day, Love and Peace.
