Buying a tray of eggs from Scotts Cool Room today (as we do twice - TopicsExpress

Buying a tray of eggs from Scotts Cool Room today (as we do twice every week). Pick up tray from the fridge and walk over to counter and splat, egg drops and breaks on the floor. Confused because tray Im holding still has all its eggs. Look back in the fridge and the tray that was underneath is missing an egg. Ok so an egg got stuck to the bottom of the tray. I look at the shop keeper who immediately declares You break it you pay for it. Ok not really a biggie, whats one egg right? But then Im like nah, that wasnt my fault that an egg gets stuck to the bottom of the tray when I lift it out right? And because Im not very happy with the stern and abrupt declaration of the shop keeper I challenge her Me: Its not my fault if the egg gets stuck to the bottom of the tray Shopkeeper: You break it you pay for it Me: Yeah but I didnt break it. It got stuck to the bottom of the tray. How would anyone know if an egg is stuck at the bottom? U cant see the bottom Shopkeeper: If u dont want to pay just put one of those eggs on your tray back into the fridge to replace the one that broke Every week for years now I have purchased 2 trays of jumbo eggs and one sack of pig pellets at a cost of $68 - EVERY WEEK. At the price of ONE egg and very poor customer service, you have lost a customer today. I will not be shopping there ever again. Rant over ........
