By Moazzam Islam TALOOT AND JALOOT Read the following terminologies before proceeding ahead. طَالُوتُ = Root is TALATA, meaning is most descent and popular among the people. جَالُوتَ = root is JALATA( meaning is to fight to harm) a character who is extremely harmful to people[barbaric fighter]. دَاوُدُ = Root is DAWADA meaning is very smart and fast to chase, swift to take action. نَبِيٍّ = The rasool who has the authority to appoint the Commanders and/or head of the departments. التَّابُوتُ =Highly expert in fighting tactics تَحْمِلُهُ الْمَلآئِكَةُ = The official of the state would be responsible to implement. بَقِيَّةٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ آلُ مُوسَى وَآلُ هَارُونَ THE TEACHINGS OF prophet Mosas followers سَكِينَةٌ = Satisfaction مُبْتَلِيكُم بِنَهَرٍ= You would be tested (experienced) with some restrictions. فَمَن شَرِبَ مِنْهُ= A man who did involve in that (violated) , to infer the sense of “sharaba”see the verse 2/93) يَطْعَمْهُ = who did attachment with that[prohibits] مَن لَّمْ يَطْعَمْهُ = the man who haven’t any sort of attachment (patch) with it. مَنِ اغْتَرَفَ غُرْفَةً بِيَدِهِ = A man who completely isolated himself to support the violators LET US ELABORATE THE STORY. Go through the verses 2/246-251, In verse 246, Bani Israil asked to their Nabi to appoint their commander to fight with “jaloot regime” under his command . In verse 247, some people objected on the appointment-criteria of their commander, but Nabi rejected their objection and satisfied them with his set auspices [ the superiority in knowledge and power] In verse 248, the NABI OF TIME pointed out the following signs [for the befitted appointment on merit as a Malik(commander) (1) Taloot has good command over war tactics (one of the requirement to remove anxiety) (2) The Malaika (official ) with him are more responsible to implement the “ taurat teachings”( بَقِيَّةٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ آلُ مُوسَى وَآلُ هَارُونَ). In verse 249, The commander tolled his people that You would be tested with following “IMPOSED RESTRICTIONS . (1) If any body, who will be involved (violated) core heatedly in it, he will be rejected at once. (2) Any body who don’t have any sort of attachment with the said restrictions he will be considered among us. (3) Any body if been involved in the prohibited matters, but after realization he completely isolated himself to help the violators, he would also be considered among us. But majority of people failed in the mandatory test, except the small group of true Momineen, infect the determent people. Verse 250-251, The minor group of Momineen bravely fought with JALOOT REGIME, The man who was much smart and swift [DAWOOD] killed the Jaloot.
