CAN I SAY HE IS GOOD AT ACADEMICS If, by academics, you mean subjects studied at school or college, you are wrong. Academic as a noun means a teacher or a professor. It started a debate among academics. As an adjective, academic means related to an academy or anything that is just theoretical or hypothetical. It was just an academic question.
