CHD receives large donation from Pride Stores SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Local foster children with the Center for Human Development received a large donation Friday. The CHD’s MaryAnne’s Kids Fund helps foster children in western Mass. participate in activities not offered through the state. The program received $25,000, donated by Pride Stores at their headquarters in Springfield. Pride raised the money through an ornament sale during the holidays. Some of the programs that will be funded for CHD’s foster children include music lessons, dance, art and sport opportunities.
