CHENNAI Book EXHIBITION 2014 ________________________________ Recently visited Chennai Book Exhibition which is held every Year. Am a regular Visitor there as I love to read Books. There were more than 700 book stalls displaying lakhs of books in various Categories/ segments. I bought some interesting Books of Martin Luther King, Abraham Lincoln, His Holiness Prophet Mohammed ( PBUH ), Leo Tolstoy, Periyar, Dr. Ambedkar, Marx, Bharathiyar and many more. Few Stalls of Muslim brothers were giving FREE Holy Quran for non-Muslims. I appreciate this effort and that’s the spirit to reach the un-touched. I appreciate my Tamil and Islamic fellow-men who had put on maximum book stalls. Sad Part and I felt PITY that there was only one Christian Book Stall “ SELLING “ Holy Bible and some few books of Cheap mentality Authors ( which is not worth to read ). It struck me that there are lot of denomination in the Christian Domain but none of them bothered to use this Mega Event. No doubt, Christian Leaders, Christian TV-wallah are fit for HEGEMONISM and HEROISM inside the 4 walls of Church. There are very few good Socialist Thinkers and Writers in the Christian Domain hope they will use this opportunity in years to come.
